[ get a cms website ]

Most businesses now prefer to update their website in-house.

Therefore First Impressions rarely develops the Dreamweaver type website that requires the developer to make the changes and updates. Now we have much better solutions and they continue to improve at a rapid pace.

The WordPress blogging platform has developed into a highly efficient and effective Content Management System (CMS). Almost any business website can be built on WordPress. If you have no interest in the blogging features of WordPress, we simply don’t inact them. What you will then have is a traditional website that you can update yourself.

wsj1Among the many diverse companies and organizations that use WordPress are : (first impressions did not develop these sites)

The Wall Street Journal Magazine »
eBay Inc. »
Ford Motor Company »
Andy Roddick »
Cornell University School of Music »

Should you not want to use WordPress there are other options, such as Expression Engine, that can be used to build a CMS website. This option is more expensive but it may fit your needs better.

Regardless of the platform you prefer, First Impressions can work with you to develop exactly the web presence that will be most beneficial for your business. We just no longer think it makes any sense to develop a website that the client does not have complete control over.
