This is what we do:

  • Set up your hosting account with GoDaddy.
  • Install WordPress 2.8x on your hosting account and setup your professional email addresses
  • Install a theme, that you have selected or bought, on your hosting account
  • Configure your Permalinks to improve the Search Engine Optimization of your site
  • Install the basic plug-ins necessary for all blogs and any specific to the theme you have selected.
  • Create account with and install Feedburner for your RSS feeds

Note: This plan is directed primarily at people who have some understanding of WordPress and who know how to write a post, set up a page, activate a widget, etc. Your blog will be fully functional but it will be an empty framework.
